I think the scenes actually in space and on Oa were excellent. It was the scenes on Earth that had mixed results. Overall, I enjoyed it though and felt it did what a movie of that type was supposed to: Get the main origin story through so that we can prepare for what will likely be awesome sequels to follow. If they can flesh out Sinestro's character more (which the scene after the credits definitely signifies will happen), and they can form a better balance between the scenes on Earth and in space/Oa, then we'll have one hell of a follow up on our hands.
